Easy Art Journaling with Watercolors, Mark Making & Stamps #3

Hi there, Susanne here with an easy and playful watercolor spread using mark making and different stamps from our Mix It Up 5 & Mix It Up 6 stamp sets. Creating these kind of pages is a process I really like to get my mojo going! Scroll down for a full process video.

I am working with watercolors from Paul Rubens in a watercolor sketchbook from Strathmore. For my mark making I am using Derwent Inktense pencils, Neocolors and stamps from our Mix Mix It Up 5 & Mix It Up 6 stamp sets.
To make sure that the whole spread looks vibrant and dynamic it’s important to leave some white spots between the paints and marks! This gives highlights and movement!

To finish the page I applied some paint splatters in white and blue.
