Grungy Art Journal Page using Pencil Marks 4

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have a grungy mixed media art journal page to share with you all using a flower stamp from our Pencil Marks 4 set as the focal point.

I had a lot of fun creating this one! I used some gel printed backgrounds that didn’t have much detail to create a collage base which is a great starting point if the blank page is daunting!

I then added some stamping using the Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp set. I think this is such a versatile stamp set because there’s so many elements to it to add interest to your backgrounds. I just used black ink to do my stamping today.

For my focal point I used Pencil Marks 4. I stamped the flower and fussy cut it out and simply added some colour to the centre. I then added a small sentiment using the Mix a Sentiment stamp set.
