Mixed Media Art Journal Page Idea with Flowers from Pencil Marks 4

Hi there, Susanne here with a mixed media spread in my handmade junk art journal using the lovely flower stamps from our Pencil Marks 4 stamps set. I combined it with a background collage, crayons, mark making and more stamping. This little journal is perfect to experiment and play! I will link up a tutorial on how to make your own at the end of this post.

For the background of this page I used handmade collage papers, mainly gelli prints or some stamped old book paper. I adhered the papers with a glue stick and covered the whole spread with a layer of clear gesso. I applied some white gesso as well to bring in some white space. To add even more interest to the background I added some stamping with Pencil Marks 2 and Vintage Postcard.
