Home Decor in Embroidery Hoop with Sketchy Birds

Hello crafty friends,

Marie-Christine with you today! I’m happy to present my first project as a guest designer for Rubber Dance Stamps this month.
I chose two beautiful Rubber Dance stamp sheets for this home deco, framed in an embroidery hoop.
it’s very trendy right now and makes an ideal gift for any occasion.

I start by cutting out a circle in a beautiful printed paper, using the embroidery hoop for the measurements. Here, the circle has a diameter of 20 cm.

I stamp the birds and flowers onto heavy watercolor paper, color in with watercolor paint and cut them out. Cutting can be a little tricky, but with a little patience and skill it all becomes easy!

I put a bird and flowers on the circle of printed paper, after finding the right place, I stick them. I stamp the title “Hello”. Then I glue the circle of paper under the embroidery hoop. You can put a weight on it so that the glue adheres better.

I finish by gluing the last bird and the remaining flowers to the left edge of the embroidery hoop. This gives a bit of relief and fantasy to this home deco.

Here are some details of the colorful watercolor stamps.

Thanks for stopping by, Marie-Christine.
