Pretty Wreath with Collage Leaves and Textured Mushrooms

Hello arty friends,

Today I have a pretty little wreath tutorial for you made with stamps from Collage Leaves and Textured Mushrooms. I hope you like it.

The weather is very gloomy here and I felt in need of a little bit of spring colour so I created this wreath.

I used a compass to create a ring which I cut out and loosely coloured with pale blue watercolour shades.

I stamped a variety of leaves from the Collage Leaves stamp set, as well as the pretty Textured Mushrooms set, onto watercolour paper using black Versafine Ink. Once the ink was dry I coloured the leaves with green and yellow watercolour shades. The mushrooms were coloured using yellows and pinks.

I cut them out and arranged them on the ring until I was happy with the composition, then glued everything down.

I added some black shading with a Stabilo All pencil and some Stickles along the stems of the leaves for a little bit of sparkle.

Finally I added some splatter with magenta ink.

It’s definitely brightened up my day a little bit!

Until next time, hugs from Angie x
