Collage Fodder – Art Journal Ephemera with Pencil Marks

Hi there, Susanne here sharing three collage fodder embellishments I made from papar scraps using stamps from our Pencil Marks 4 & Pencil Marks 8 stamp sets. I am creating these clusters for the 100 days project!
Each cluster includes a little envelope with a note to myself, writing about what I am grateful for or happy about! I love using these ephemera pieces not only on art journal pages! They are also great for mixed media tags, greeting cards, scrapbooking layouts or to decorate and embellish albums or planners!
I already shared a bunch of tutorial during the last weeks on how I make them. You will find them here, here and here.
Let’s start with my favourite one! As a base I used a gelli print that I made whilst creating collage fodder with our Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil. There is a video tutorial available here.
I embellished it with images from Pencil Marks 4 which I’d stamped to a watercolor background using black embossing powder. I created a pocket for my little envelope and added a little die-cut clip and some dots with an acrylic paint pen.

The next two turned out quite similar. I made them a few days apart from each other, but this compositions seems to be very harmonic to me. I used a circle as a base, which I drew using a black acrylic paint pen onto a gelli print. I cut them out and then embellished them with stamps from Pencil Marks 8. Both elements have a pocket for the note to myself and on the right one I also used some mark making to make it more interesting.

I hope you like the card! Thanks for stopping by today!
xx Susanne
