Altered Playing Cards with our new Butterflies

Hi there, Susanne here with a set of altered playing cards using stamps from our new Butterflies and Moths and A to Z stamp sets. I am using old cards from my grandmother and collage together with, Distress Inks, a Distress Oxide spray ink and Neocolors on the background. Scroll down for a full video tutorial.
I started these cards by adhering some collage papers with a glue stick. I mainly used transparent papers, such as rice paper or old tea bags. To make that permanent I covered the cards with a thin layer of clear gesso. Once this was dry I added some color with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Spray. To bring in more contrast I used a Neocolor II crayons in a turquoise shade. I added a bit of stamping to the backgrounds as well with images from Mix It Up 5.
For my focal images I stamped two of the butterflies with Versafine Clair in black. I used Rusty Hinge and Peacock Feathers to color them in.
I used some of the A to Z letters, stamped to some vintage paper, to create a title for each card.
