Mixed Media ATCs with Doodle Flowers

Hey there, it’s Evi on the blog today with a mixed media Artist Trading Card made with the Doodle Flowers 2 set and different stamps and stencils in the background.

At the beginning I took a print from a gelli plate and stamped the flower from the Doodle Flowers 2 set on it and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I then set about creating a background. To do this, I heat embossed a text stamp from the Mix It Up 5 set with transparent embossing powder and then coloured it in various shades of blue with distress oxide inks.

Then I took the Small Triangle stencil and painted a texture paste irregularly over it. To add black accents, I stamped a stamp from the Mix It Up 7 set in some places on the background. A few white acrylic splashes and a motivating sentence round off the artist trading card. I then glued on the flower and added a strip of black and white striped paper to the edge.

I hope you like my little artist trading card and wish you a lot of fun making something creative. The titles are made with words from the Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
