AHOY to a set of mixed media ATCs

Hey everyone! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have some fun artist trading cards to share with you playing with the wonderful stamps from AHOY and Mix It Up 6.

If you saw my post last month, I shared a card using a gel print, and for my ATCs today I’m using the left over print as my starting point. I really loved how my gel print turned out and it was perfect for some sea themed ATCs. To create my gel print I used blue acrylic paints and the Ornament 1 stencil.

I added some additional stamping using the postcard stamp from Mix It Up 6 using Versafine Clair Twilight ink. I also inked around the edges.

For my focal images I used stamps from AHOY which I water-coloured and fussy cut out and I added a small sentiment from the Mix a Sentiment stamp set.

I really hope these give you some inspiration to get creative and ATCs are always a great place to start!
