Greeting Cards made with Gelli Prints, Weeds & Butterflies

Hi there, Susanne here with a set of greeting cards made from gelli prints with our Weed Love 2025 and Butterflies and Moths stamp sets. For the cards I used backgrounds that I shared in one of my past YouTube videos. I will link it at the end of this post.

I love making my own papers for cardmaking, scrapbooking or other papercrafts! One of my favourite ways to make them is with the Gelli Plate. Often it happens, that I have a lot of prints, but then I am not sure what to do with them or I think they are a bit boring. A tutorial for today’s backgrounds is linked at the bottom.

For today’s cards I used a turquoise and burnt sienna background. They were stamped with images from Weed Love 2025 and Mix It Up 7.

I mounted the backgrounds to a card base and adhered some butterflies that I had embossed in white and gold to vellum paper.

Here is the tutorial on how I did those backgrounds:

I hope I could inspire you a little bit, thanks for stopping by today!

xx Susanne
