Colourful ATCs with Doodle Flowers and Distress Inks

Hey there!
Selene on the blog today with a few colourful ATCs using the lovely Doodle Flowers 2 stamp set together with a Distress Ink background.

I had so much fun creating these cards in a small series! 🙂
As I saw the new A to Z set, I immediately thought: ” this would make a great background with no effort!” and I got no disappointment.
I just stamped and embossed the letters using WOW! clear gloss powder and then I randomly picked up some watered distress oxides and distress inks to create a super-colourful background.
Did this work?! Indeed! For I moment I just thought that the ATCs were just perfect as they were.
But then… a quick glance at Doodle Flowers 2 set made me think: “what if I stamp those gorgeous flowers onto a gel press stamped paper?”
I had a few sheets I used to pick up leftovers form the gel press that had could make a great texture for the flowers, so I stamped them with Nocturne VersafineClair pad ad got an amazing result. I would define it perfect, but… you tell me! 😛

I then fussy cut the flowers and leaves, sewed buttons and fabrics, added gauze and staples and.. all of a sudden, everything came together, like magic!
I stamped the sentiments and sorted them for the cards.

My fav is the one with a daisy on it. Le me know yours and share your projects with us!

Below you can find the stamps set I used – I hope these can be of inspiration!

xx Selene
