Creating Friendship Tags with Collage Leaves

Hello there, it’s Isa! With the holiday season just around the corner, why not add a personal touch to your gifts for family and friends by crafting these beautiful, one-of-a-kind tags using the delightful leaves from the Pencil Marks 5 stamp set?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably accumulated more paper scraps and gel plate prints than you’ll ever use in a lifetime!

Well, it’s time to put those treasures to good use. I sifted through my collection of colorful paper bits and prints that harmonized well together, ensuring a coherent color palette. These little gems were about to transform my old business cards into artful collage tags.

First things first, if you’re reusing old business cards like I did, make sure to collage the printed side of your cards 😉. This way, you can still jot down a heartfelt note on the back, should you wish!

I tore about 4 to 5 pieces of paper into various shapes and glued them to the card. I carefully balanced light and dark values, blending muted and vivid colors, and creating contrast on each tag.

Next up, it was time to introduce a captivating focal point. I fussy cut an image I’d stamped using Stazon ink on another paper scrap or gel-printed paper. The result? Instant charm and intrigue.

And now, let’s add a dash of sentiment. I trimmed around the stamped words, rounding off the corners that would gracefully extend beyond the tag’s edges.

I replicated this process for the remaining two tags, ensuring a consistent and delightful theme.

Watch a little process clip!

I can’t wait to see the stunning creations you come up with!

These Friendship Tags with Collage Leaves are the perfect way to spread holiday cheer with a personal touch. Happy crafting!

Be Bold and Shine
