Mixed Media Index Card with Sketchy Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media index card with crackle paste, Brushos, some stamping and collage with our Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil. Scroll down for a quick process video.

I started the card by applying some crackle paste through our Cross It stencil. After this was dry I added a bit of stamping using images from our Mix It Up 4 stamp set.
To bring in color I used Brusho powders in Purple, Gamboge and Yellow.
Whilst the background was drying I prepared the focal image – a leaf from Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil. I laid the stencil onto some Mix Media paper, sprayed water through it and sprinkled some Brushos on top. I used Purple and Gamboge to make it go well with the background. I immediately removed the stencil, let it dry and cut it out.

To finish the card I adhered the leaf on top of a few collage bits together with some words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
