Mixed Media Index Cards with Collage Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here with some mixed media index cards with some of the leaf stamps from Collage Leaves 2 on a collage background, that is textured with images from Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6.

I started these cards with some random collage bits. To bring in texture and contrast I applied some pink soft pastel and moved the pigments around with water. I love this technique so much, the texture you are getting is amazing. This does not work with all soft pastel brands, but with many of them. To bring in even more interest I stamped different images randomly with different colors using the Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6 stamp sets. I made some white splatters to bring in some highlights.

As my focal points I stamped images from Collage Leaves 2 to a watercolor background. I cut them out and adhered them with craft glue. I added a title to each card with words from our Mix A Sentiment stamps
