Mixed Media ATCs featuring Mixed Media Marks 1 & Mix It Up 1 Stamp Sets

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have some bright Artist Trading Cards using the Mixed Media Marks 1 & Mix it up 1 Stamp sets which are the featured stamp sets for April and 10% off during the whole month! So I hope this gives you some inspiration! I have also used the leaves from the Inky Flowers stamp set too for my focal image.

To create my ATCs I first cut three panels of card to 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I then ink blended distress oxides in Uncharted Mariner, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry. I added some water splashes and then I used the Mini Ink Dots stencil in the background using the same distress oxides to add some more interest.

Next I added some stamping using the Mixed Media Marks 1 & Mix it up 1 Stamp Sets in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

I stamped the tickets on some cardstock and water coloured them using Seedless Preserves and Mowed Lawn distress oxides. I distressed the tickets around the edge using my scissors and set them to one side to dry. I then stamped the postmarks using Seedless Preserves Distress oxide and fussy cut them out. Finally, I stamped the leaves from the Inky Flowers stamp set, water coloured them and then fussy cut them out.

I then arranged my composition and added some white thread and glued each element down and then added a small word from the Mix a Sentiment stamp set.
