Mixed Media ATCs with a Masterboard & Inky Friends

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a set of two mixed media artist trading cards using stamps from our Inky Friends set. The card base is cut from a masterboard that I created in mixed media. You will find a tutorial linked up at the end of this post

ATCs are little art cards which can be made from any type of medium. They measure 2.5″ x 3.5″. Often people are trading them online.

The bumble bee and the bee are stamped by inking up the stamp with Distress ink Black Soot, spritzing it with a little amount of water and then stamp it to watercolor paper. That gives a lovely effect. I stamped images from our Mixed Media Borders underneath the insects to give them something to sit on.

For the title I picked some words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set. These are embossed in white to black cardstock.
