Mixed Media Index Cards with Stenciled Focal Images
Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a mixed media index card today using stenciled leaves as my focal point. I used our new Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil together with Brushos to create the main images for my cards. In this post I am sharing the steps I took to make the cards including some quick video tutorials.
I started the card above with an easy Brusho and stencil background. I added some stamping and orange splatters on top before I adhered the leaf as my main image. Watch these videos:
This card is done almost in the same way. For even more texture I added some collage underneath the main image. Watch this video:
This last card, my favourite one is done with some texture paste that I put down through the Small Ink Dots stencil. I added color with acrylic Inks and mark makings with Neocolors, Stamps and some Distress Glitter in Gold. To make the leaf stand out I adhered some collage elements underneath.
