Mixed Media Tags with Gouache Sticks and Pencil Marks

Hi there, Susanne here with two mixed media tags using images from Pencil Marks 2 and Pencil Marks 3 as my focal images. I used gouache paints together with some collage and stamps from Mixed Media Marks 1 for the background.

Making these tags was quite messy but also so much fun. I just had a play with different layers of gouache paints, stamping and collage. I used some normal gouache tube paints and also some gouache sticks, which are really fun to play with. For my focal images I used botanical images from Pencil Marks 2 and Pencil Marks 3 . I stamped those with Distress Ink Black Soot to watercolor paper. After I’ve inked up the stamp I spritzed it with a little bit of water before I stamped it. This gave me a nice watercolor look.
