Mixed Media Tags with a grungy Background and Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here with two mixed media index tags. I used various techniques on the background including acrylic paints and some stamping. To finish up the tags I used some stenciled focal images that I made using our Sketchy Leaves 2 and Sketchy Leaves 3 Stencil. You will find a full tutorial on these botanical collage pieces at the end of this post.

I cut the tags with a die from Canson XL watercolor paper and threw on some acrylic fluid paints from Daler Rowney. After the paint was dry I added some mixed media stamping with black ink and white acrylic paint. I used stamps from Carved Collection 3 and Mixed Media Marks 1 .
