Mixed Media Tags with Pencil Marks 3 and Inky Friends

Hi there, Susanne here with two mixed media tags. Creating tags is so much fun! They are not big, so you don’t need that much time to make them. Due to their size they are perfect to experiment with new techniques or ideas. For the ones I am sharing today I used acrylics, Neocolors and of course a bunch of stamps.

I started by adding acrylic inks to the background. Next I added some mixed media stamping on top with black ink and stamps from Mixed Media Marks 1 and Mix It Up 1. I added some mark making with Neocolors and finished the background with some paint splatters in black and white. To make them look interesting I added a complementary colour to the background. Just a little bit of turquoise with a Neocolor. I picked a left-over paint paper with colors that were matching my tag and stamped a leaf from Pencil Marks 3. Cut out it is a perfect focal point for the first tag.
