Colourful Mixed Media Card with Doodle Flowers

Hi stamp lovers. This way Grace @coquitocraftlover another week. Today we are going to make a fun card with acrylic paints, stamps from Doodle Flowers and hot embossing powders. How’s your summer going?

Here we have hot days but I love summer so I’m happy. I’m a lover of summer.

You need a watercolor or mixed media paper to stamp some stamps, I have used the Doodle Flowers Clear flower stamps and to achieve greater texture I did them with hot embossing. Unfortunately these Doodle Flowers are no longer availabler in the clear version, but there will be a follow up set available in August 24! Doodle Flowers 2!

Then we use acrylic paints to create a fun background, this time I only used 2 colors, neon pink and neon yellow, they go perfectly with the neon orange stamps.

After having the background in colors we can touch it with stamps.
I like stamping stamps with acrylic markers, they give projects a more mix-media touch.
Now to stamp some flowers to create the focal point of the card.
I didn’t want to put a lot of color on it so I just gave it some details with acrylic markers.

I hope you like this idea and I hope you are encouraged to use your beautiful Rubber Dance Art stamps with many acrylic markers.

See you in the next blogpost
Happy summer girls!
