Mixed Media Tags with Distress Oxide Inks and Pencil Marks 1

Hey, hey, hey! Selene’s on the blog today with two super pink tags made with distress oxides and the lovely stamps from Pencil Marks 1.
These may look complicated, but are quite easy and quick, instead.

I think the harder part was choosing the colour shade I wanted to work with. I mean, I made two tags on a greenish/light blue shade, but they didn’t feel right. That day I felt pink, so pink had to be! 😀

I started from scratch and, let me say, that I really enjoyed the process of making these two.
At a certain point, I was so happy with my backgrounds, that I had to force myself to carry on!
I love the Cross it stencil, it’s super cute! I was also stunned by the background that came out of the Rainbows #2 stencil I used with white gesso.

After that I just enjoyed the time I spent in stamping stars, words and numbers here and there. I think that things got along quite well.
For the focal images, I then decided to keep on using the same colours as I wanted to get a sense of harmony. I used stamps from Pencil Marks 1.
