Pocket Letter With Mixed Media Marks 1 and Mix It Up 1

Hi everyone, today I bring you a pocket letter inspiration using stamps from our Mix It Up 1 and Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp sets. A pocket letter is a special happy mail that you can send to a friend and fill with all kinds of crafty goodies. You decorate small cards to fill the letter. Each card has the size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches and will be put into a collection card plastic sheet, which has 9 pockets available.

First I used a piece of candle to draw all kinds of patterns on the background.
I stamped pieces from the Mix It Up 1 and Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp sets on watercolour paper.

I smeared one of the stamps with acrylic ink, and before it dried, I blew out the impression with a little water. The inscription then smudged in a few places, like an old, soggy newspaper. After it dried I watered the page again and coloured it with watercolour. At this point, the result is much better if you let it dry naturally. If you have time, do not dry it with a heat gun, you will not regret it!

Finally, decorate with your favourite stamps. You can also re-stamp the card itself, adding a new dimension to your creation, and then use the cut-out pieces to make it even more exciting. The patterns highlighted with embossing powder look very good on pages like this.

Watch the video below to see the process. You loved the previous one, but unfortunately I accidentally started the video recording in fast forward. I’m hoping this time it will be easier to follow the process.
