Mixed Media Tags with Distress Ink Background and Collage Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here, showing you two layered mixed media tags with our new Collage Leaves 3 stamp set. I used Distress Inks and Oxides together with our new Mini Textures stencil for the background. All new stamps and stencils will be 10% off until Sunday, October 26th 2025.

For the backgrounds of the tags I used our new Mini Textures stencil together with Distress Inks and Oxides. I cut the stencil apart into its four textures, so it’s easier to work with. I inked up the stencil with the Distress Ink, spritzed it with water and pressed it onto the background. I used a kitchen roll to soak up the over amount of ink coming out.
On these tags I used Picked Raspberry (Ink), Fossilized Amber and Peacock Feathers (Oxides). To add a bit of grunge I applied some black liquid charcoal. I stamped a border around the tags with our new Stitching Borders and inked the edges in black.
I am finished each tag with some bits of collage paper, a focal image and a title stamped from the brand new Collage Leaves 3 set. I stamped the images to Mix Media paper and coloured them with Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry. I made a few white splatters for some highlights.
