Greeting Card with Carved Collection 4

Hi, Åshild here with a colorful greeting card using Carved Collection 4 together with a greeting from Mixed Sentiments 1! And one more exciting news! We have a BLACK FRIDAY Sale this week going on!

Take a close look at the background on this card. Do you notice the soft blue leaves? You may even recognize it? After buying several of the beautiful stamp designs from Rubber Dance, I have several “back sheets” piled up, ’cause I don’t store my stamps in the belonging clearbags. And the back sheets are just so wonderful! The quality of the cardboard is steady and perfect for some mixed media fun, and the printed leaves just make them even more beautiful. So – why not use them for cards?

For this card I added some watercolor paint to the back sheet before stamping bold stamps with bold black ink. To make the sentiment pop, I used a die directly on the back sheet, and then mounted it back in place, but on glue pads.
