Birthday Card with Textured Sea Creatures

   

Hi there! Susanne here with an under the sea birthday card using the Seahorses of our stamp set of the month: the Textured Sea Creatures together with a gelli printed background and some stencil embossing with our Small Ink Dots. The Textured Sea Creatures are 10% off only in July!

I started by die cutting a gelli print with a stitched frame die, that matches my card base. The gelli print is made with our Organic 1 stencil (only a few left!). I stenciled some of the Small Ink Dots with Versamark ink and embossed it with Under The Sea powder.

I embossed the seahorses from the Textured Sea Creatures stamp set in white to watercolor paper. I used metallic watercolor to colour them in.

I put the card together with a banner using our Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sketchy Flowers 3 stamp set. To create an underwater scene I die cut some sea weed and corals from glitter paper and adhered those to the card. I adhered the seahorses and the banner with foam dots.
