Greeting Card using Distress Inks with Inky Friends

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have a greeting card to share with you using Inky Friends and Mix it Up 4 stamp sets!

To create my card I used a background which was a mop up of distress oxides – Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon. I added some tone on tone stamping in the background that is very subtle.

I stamped my butterfly using black ink on watercolour cardstock and I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders to add colour. Once it was dry I fussy cut the image out.

I added some bold black stamping on the background too using Mix it Up 4. That circle was a great stamp to add to help ground my focal point. I added a few stars too to finish and a sentiment from the Butterflies and Moths stamp set!
