Lovely Butterfly Card with Stencil Background

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a happy and bright greeting card with a stencil background using Stars 1 and Marks 3. The focal images are stamps from Butterflies and Moths.

I used a background I had already in my stash, which was made with Distress Inks and Oxides and our Marks 3 stencil. I used our Stars 1 stencil together with Fossilized Amber in the Oxide Version to bring some texture to the card base. Instead of adhering my background in the center of the card, I placed it towards the edge and put it at an angle. I cut of the overlapping paper. I used foam tape to give the card more dimension.

The butterflies are embossed in black and coloured with metallic watercolors. I adhered them with foam dots.
