Tone in tone Christmas card idea with Stencil Background

Hello, it´s Sanna here again with another Christmas card idea that is very easy to do. For this card I used the Stars 1 Stencil and the Textured Xmas Trees 2 stamp set.

Here is how I created this card:

I first played with the Stars 1 stencil and a gelli plate to create these two-toned prints. While doing so, I brayered the residue ink onto a clean piece of white paper which I then used to stamp some Textured Xmas Trees 2 stamp images onto. After that I just cut the papers into size, adhered them onto white card bases and then added the fussy cut Christmas trees on top. I then finished the card off with a stamped sentiment on white cardstock that was adhered on place with 3D foam. The black pen outline combines the trees together with the background. You might notice from tree picture that there are various types of trees in the photo. I will be sharing the cards I made with those very soon.

I really like the tone-in-tone style of this card. I hope you give this idea a try!
