Greeting card with alcohol ink and Sketchy Leaves 7

Hey there, it’s Evi on the Blog today with a greeting card made using alcohol inks and the Sketchy Leaves 7 stencil.

I love colors, and especially in autumn, the trees and bushes glow in the most beautiful colors. Maybe I got just a tiny bit carried away when I worked with the alcohol ink, but it’s just so much fun!

I saw the idea for the card at Ranger ink, and since I wanted to use the alcohol ink again, I decided to give it a try. First, I placed the stencil on Yuko paper and coated it with paste. After it dried, I dripped different shades of red alcohol ink onto the paper and simply let the colors do their thing.

Once everything had dried, I stamped and embossed my thank-you messages from the new stamping set Kartengrüße, then stuck them onto a piece of fabric and attached them to the card.
