Flower Card with Gelli Plate Background

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a flower greeting card with a gelli plate background and stamps from our Pencil Marks 7 stamp set.

I picked a bunch of gelli paper scraps from my stash to create a patchwork background on the card base. Once glued down, I added some stamping with the stars from Mix It Up 4 in pink to match the background. As my focal image I stamped the big flower from Pencil Marks 7 also to a gelli paper and cut it out. I drew the stem and the leaves with a black Neocolor and adhered the flower with foam dots to give it more dimension.

The sentiment is embossed in white to black card stock. It’s a stamp from our Sketchy Flowers 3 set.
