Greeting Card with Carved Collection 6

Hey there, today Evi is back on the blog with a greeting card that only requires a single stamp set, the wonderful Carved Collection 6. The background was designed using the small triangles from the set, and the flower in the foreground is also from the set.

I started by designing the background. To do this, I laid out lots of Distress Oxide ink pads and selected the small triangles from the set Carved Collection 6. It takes a little effort to stamp the paper in a specific color sequence and fairly evenly, but you will be rewarded with a great background in the end.

To add another focal point to this beautiful colorful background, I embossed a flower with gold embossing powder and cut it out. I also scattered a few gold speckles and added black and white striped cardstock at the top and bottom as an accent.
