Grungy Greeting Card with Distress Ink Background

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a greeting card with the Distress Ink backgrounds I shared in last week’s video. I am playing with stamps from Butterflies and Moths, Stitching Borders an a greeting from Kartengrüße.

For the backgrounds of these cards I used one of the design papers I created in last week’s post with Distress Inks, Oxides, some stamps and our Mini Ink Dots stencil. I linked the video again at the end of this post!
Here is a photo of the background paper I picked.

I mounted the paper to a card base and adhered my focal image with foam dots. The butterfly was stamped in black and embossed with clear powder. I colored it in with Distress Ink in light yellow shades. I stamped the sentiment from Kartengrüße and cut it with a small frame die. I also adhered it with a foam tape to make it stand out.
