Use Stencils with Brushos – Mixed Media Greeting Cards

Hi there, Susanne here! Today I’m sharing two mixed media greeting cards with a stencil background using Brushos together with our Organic 4 stencil and images from Pencil Marks 7 and Pencil Marks 8.

I picked the Canson XL watercolor paper for my card backgrounds. I sprayed water through the Organic 4 stencil and sprinkled some Brusho powders on it. I then immediately removed the stencil carefully and placed it upside down onto another piece of watercolor paper. I used the kitchen roll over the top to soak up the over amount of ink.
With this technique I got two backgrounds at once!

To finish the cards I cut the Brusho backgrounds with a frame die and combinded it with leaf stamps from Pencil Marks 7 and Pencil Marks 8.
