Patchwork Greeting Cards made with Gelli Prints & Butterflies

Hi there, Susanne here with a set of easy to make greeting cards using from gelli printed scraps with our Butterflies and Moths and A to Z stamps.

I love making my own papers for cardmaking, scrapbooking or other papercrafts! One of my favourite ways to make them is with the Gelli Plate. Often it happens, that I have a lot of small bits and pieces left over from those prints and these cards are a good idea to use those up.

For today’s cards I picked some scraps in pink and orange. I adhered them directly to the card base with a glue stick. For the greeting I used letters from our A to Z stamp set and the word “Birthday” from another set (I can’t remember from which one). I stamped those directly to the cards. I coloured them in with a white acrylic marker.
The focal images of the cards are some stamps from our Butterflies and Moths set. I embossed them in black to mixed media paper and coloured them with metallic watercolors.

I hope I could inspire you a little bit, thanks for stopping by today!

xx Susanne
