Winter/ Christmas Card with Stencil Background & XMas Trees

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a Winter/Christmas card using our XMas Trees stencil together with a background made with our Stars stencil together with Distress Ink and heat embossing.

This card is quite a glittery/ textured one. For the background I used our Stars stencil together with embossing ink and white powder. After I’ve heat set the powder I inked the background with tumbled glass Distress Ink.

The trees are made with Distress Oxides in different shades and our XMas Trees stencil. Immediately after I’ve made each tree with my blending brush and the stencil I sprinkled embossing powder on top. I used similar colors each time. Once this was heat set I cut the trees out.

I finished the card by mounting the background to a white card base. I added a die cut element showing a winter landscape and a sentiment stamped with our lovely Winter Wonderland stamp set.
