Cute Tag with Sketchy Birds 2

Hello arty friends, it’s almost Christmas and here is a crafty tag using our lovely Sketchy Birds 2 stamp set. It’s a lovely piece that you can use as a book mark or just to decorate a gift.

I have a pad of wood effect paper that I like to use for my projects and here I’ve used it for the base of the tag.

I cut a piece of Khadi paper a little smaller than the tag and splattered it with gold paint.

I added a border from the Mixed Media Borders set and some background stamping with the Mix A Sentiment 2023 set.

I stamped out 2 of the Sketchy Birds on a piece of gelli print paper, cut them out and glued them onto the matted tag.

I outlined the birds with a black Stabilo All and smudged the outline with a water brush to add some shading. Once this was dry I doodled some small pink/white circles to add more interest.

I found a quote sticker in my Christmas stash and finally added some twine to hang the tag.
