Mixed Media Flower Card with Vintage Stuff

Hello arty friends,

how are you? It’s a lovely spring day here in Kent so flower stamps seem particularly appropriate.

For this card I started by stamping the flower image onto a piece of card – you might notice that I stamped it onto white card first but then decided that was too stark and stamped it again onto cream card.

I also stamped several individual flower heads onto cream card.

Although I used Versafine ink, this is a new ink pad and still very juicy, so I embossed it with clear powder to speed up the drying process.

I also stamped a quote onto a strip of pink paper to complement the background, which is a piece of gelli print and added a little bit of background stamping.

Finally I cut out the elements, assembled them on the background, glued them down, mounted the background and stuck it onto a white card blank.
