Graphic Style Gelli Prints with Carved Collection 6

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with some some inspiration on how to make interesting backgrounds using a mini 6″ x 4″ Gelli Plate and the Carved Collection 6 stamp set.

These papers will be great for greeting cards, collage or other crafty stuff.
The mini 6″ x 4″ Gelli Plate is the perfect size for creating A6 prints!
On this occasion, I chose analagous colours – colours which sit next to each other on the colour wheel. You may prefer to use complementary or split complementary colours in your creations for more of a contrast. I was feeling in a harmonious mood!
If you’ve not used a Gelli Plate before, “less is more” when applying acrylic paint to the plate; then brayer until the colours are blended well with no harsh lines.

I used 3 of the small triangular stamps from the Carved Collection 6 set and stamped in rhythmic patterns.
If you’ve not used this technique before, have a spare sheet of paper to the side to stamp the paint off as you go.

Here are the 4 finished prints – A6 size – ready for me to make some greeting cards in a future crafting session 😊
