Greeting Card with Sketchy Birds 2 and Distress Oxides

Hi there! Susanne here and today with another greeting card. I played with our brand new clear stamp sets, the Sketchy Birds 2 and Carved Collection 3 together with Distress Oxides. You will find a quick video for this card at the end of the post.

For the greeting card I used Tombow Markers to create a watercolor style on the background. I used Distress Oxides and stamped the flower from Carved Collection 3 in Peeled Paint and Broken China. For a little color twist I stamped the post stamp from Mix It Up 2 in Wild Honey. I finished the background with some splatters in blue and black. I cut it with a die from Crealies. I finished the card by adhereing the bird and the sentiment. The bird is colored in with Tombows, the sentiment is stamped with white embossing powder to black cardstock.
