Greeting Cards using the Autumn Leaves Stamp Set

Hi everyone it’s Laura on the blog today and I have two bright autumnal cards to share with you using the Autumn Leaves Stamp set.

For my cards I created an ink blended background using distress oxide inks. I used Evergreen Bough, Ripe Persimmon and Dried Marigold for the one and Unchartered Mariner, Wilted Violet and Saltwater Taffy for the other.

I allowed the ink to dry and then I added some interest by spritzing water on a text stamp from the Mix it Up 6 Stamp set and stamped it onto the background. This added some very subtle text. For the other panel I used the Marks 2 Stencil and spritzed water through it and dabbed off the excess with a cloth.

I allowed the water marks to dry and then I used an antistatic powder bag all over the panels. I then stamped the Autumn leaves using WOW embossing ink and then covered the panels with WOW Superfine Metallic Rich Gold embossing powder. When I had heat set them I attached my panels to a mat layer of kraft card and then attached them to a white A2 top folding card blank.

For my sentiments I used the fun new A to Z stamp set. I love that you can mix the font styles and create your own words! I white heat embossed those on black card, trimmed them down and glued them to my cards.

Here are some close-ups of the cards

I really hope you like them! You can find a full tutorial on my YouTube channel below:
