Greeting Cards with Stenciled Focal Images & Brushos
Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing some greeting cards today using stenciled leaves as my focal point. I used our new Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil together with Brushos to create the main images for my cards. It’s a super easy technique for some quick projects. Scroll down for a quick video demo on how I am making these cards.
For both cards I layed the mask of the stencil onto watercolor paper, spritzed it with water and added the Brusho powders. The Brushos react with the water. Carefully I am removing the mask and that’s it! It might use some trys to find out how much water you need, but once you’ve figured it out you can make tons of pretty cards with this technique.
To finis the cards I adhered the images to a kraft card base and added a sentiment.
