Lovely Postcard with In The Air

I’ve had this lovely piece of gelli print in my stash for a while now and when I got the gorgeous balloon stamp I knew that the gelli print would make a nice sky background.

I started by added a little bit of background stamping with the sentiment stamp.

I stamped the balloon on a variety of colours  (I make a lot of these multi-coloured gelli prints so that one sheet will give me a ready-made set of colours that will go together). I used one of the balloons as the base and added elements from the others to add more interest.

I also stamped the cloud/sun image several times, using the blue clouds and the yellow sun for my postcard.

Once I’d assembled my card I added the word.

I finished off by adding some doodling with a white Posca pen and some confetti made from holographic paper scraps.

I really love the unpredictable results you sometimes get with gelli prints and think these ones work particularly well together.
