Mixed Media Card with Stencil Background and Doodle Flowers 2

Hey there, it´s Evi on the Blog today with a mixed media card using the lovely leaf stamp from Doodle Flowers 2 as a focal point on a layered Distress Oxide background. I created the layers with the Marks 2 stencil and a lot of texture stamps.

I first wiped four different colours onto cardstock, then placed the stencil Marks 2 over it and wiped again with the corresponding colour to create this great pattern.

I then stamped on various stamps from the sets Mix It Up 4 and Pencil Marks 4 and finally stamped on a stamp from the set Mix It Up 4 with the embossing pad and heat embossed it in white.

I stamped the branches from the set Doodle Flowers 2 on white cardstock in black colouring and stamped them as well in white colouring on black cardstock and heat embossed them. I looked for transparent paper and yarn to use as a background for the flowers and I cut black cardstock as a frame for the background. A few splashes of black and pink are a must for the pep.
