Rainbow tag with Textured Sea Creatures and Distress Oxides

Textured Sea Creatures is the stamps set of the month! It’s 10% off in July! Get your’s now! I’m sharing a lovely nautical mixed media tag today using stamps from this set.

I made a simple background with distress oxides, blending colours together harmonically.
then I added a few coloured splashes, plus white ones to get the bubbly marine look.

To get some texture, I stamped small elements on the background, such as spirals and stars. I also used the border stamp from Mix It Up 4.
In such a context, a starfish and a shell could not be missing!
I chose a seahorse as focal image, as I’ve always found this lil’ animal reassuring and comforting. They’re sooooo sweet!

To finish it up I used words from Mix A Sentiment.
