Springtime Card with Doodle Flowers

Hello arty friends, Angie here,

this is my last project for the Rubberdance blog! I have had the best time playing with all of the gorgeous stamps and it has been absolute honour to have been allowed to be part of the team for quite a long time!
My final project is a card that has spring vibes – despite the mixed weather we’ve been having in the southeast of England recently, I am ready for Spring!

For this card I dug into my tin of stamped images and chose some leaves and flowers from the Doodle Flowers stamp set. I splattered some gold ink onto a piece of Khadi paper. Whilst trying to arrange the leaves on the background I decided that I also wanted to include butterflies, so I stamped a couple form the Inky Friends to a piece of tissue paper that was used to mop up my gelli plate. I glued down the butterflies with matte medium, and the rest of the images with wet glue. I also added some pink “confetti” to make everything pop a little bit more, and a stamped quote from the Mixed Sentiments 1 set.

Finally I matted my design onto a piece of holographic card and then onto a card blank.

I hope you like it. You can find me on Instagram (@hugsonpaper)!
