Journal Page Inspiration using Doodle Flowers 2

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog and today I’m sharing an inspiration post from my Art Journal using a leaf stamp from Doodle Flowers 2 on a layered mixed media background!

I’ve used some of my gel prints that I made recently to start my background off. I then added some white acrylic paint, some stenciling using the Stars stencil and some stamping using Mix it up 5. My focal image is from Doodle Flowers 2 along with a sentiment from an older set – Collage Leaves (an alternative would be the Mix A Sentiment stamp set). Using your gel prints to start your journal page is a great way of getting past the blank page and then building on those layers of colour you’ve already created!
