Greeting card with Stencil Background

Hey there, it’s Evi on the Blog today with a greeting card made with a Gelli background with the Big Triangles stencil and a flower from the Pencil Marks 4 stamping set.

Recently I experimented a bit on the gelli plate and selected a print of it for today’s greeting card. I had used orange-gold acrylic paint and the stencil Big Triangles for this. On this background I have stamped some stamps of the set Mix It Up 4 in different positions. I also embossed the dot pattern from Mix It Up 7 with some glitter powder and used the hearts from Doodle Flowers 2.

I chose a flower from the set Pencil Marks 4 and stamped it on white cardstock and cut it out. I spiced up the background with splashes of pink and bronze and sewed a zigzag border with black thread on the sewing machine, before I glued on the flower.
