Autumnal Art Journal Page with Distress Ink Background & Textured Mushrooms

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an autumnal mixed media art journal page with a Distress Ink & Oxide background, our Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil and stamps from Autumn Leaves and Textured Mushrooms 2.

I started the page by blending Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner almost all over the page. My plan was to create a night scene with some of my mushroom collage fodder I created some weeks ago with our Textured Mushrooms 2.
I am stamping some of the Autumn Leaves images to the top of the page using Midnight Blue Ink from StazOn. I also stamped a bit of the script stamp from Mix It Up 6 randomly on the page.
With Distress Oxide in Forest Moos I added some botanical images using our Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil. I added a few water droplets to activate the inks and get more texture.
I used two strips of old book paper to build a bottom on the page. I coloured this with Distress Oxides in Wild Honey and Antique Linen.
To finish the page I adhered the mushrooms and a sentiment from Mix A Sentiment.
