Abstract Paintings with Mixed Media – Video Tutorial

Hi there, Susanne here with an abstract mixed media painting tutorial using all kinds of materials together with stamps from Pencil Marks 8 and a focal image made with our Sketchy Leaves 5.

The background of this abstract painting was done with a fun intuitive process. I used a big sheet of watercolor paper and created four panels with masking tape on it. I then applied all kinds of materials – stamping, liquid watercolors, watercolor pencils, crayons… Once I removed the tape I had left four abstract backgrounds to work on.
To finish the images I used Posca Markers and Neocolor Crayons.
